HODLpac’s mission is to support current and future members of the United States Congress that promote the development of cryptocurrencies and the decentralized economy.
We believe it is in our national interest that Americans are able to use, build, and participate in public cryptonetworks such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
However, the current legal and regulatory environment in the United States prevents Americans from fully benefiting from the transformative potential of new technologies such as non-sovereign digital money, Web 3.0, decentralized finance, and decentralized computing.
Together, we can form a grassroots political movement to influence our representatives and change this unfortunate reality.
HODLpac pledges to uphold the following values:
HODLpac donors will vote to decide where our money goes and to determine our priorities. HODLpac will experiment with emerging solutions around decentralized governance (in a compliant manner) as to uphold the values of our community and serve as an example for policymakers to learn from.
Our community is united by a mutual interest in reforming the regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies in the United States. HODLpac will be a “big tent” with enough room for anyone who works with, uses,or otherwise supports public blockchains and the decentralized economy.
As a community, we recognize that we are first movers in the early stages of a technological revolution. Therefore, we must do our part to educate the general public and our representatives in Washington.
HODLpac will donate to any federal candidate for the United States House of Representatives and Senate that supports our cause, regardless of political affiliation.
